Fabergé won the Ladies Complication category at the Luxembourg Watchfair ceremony on 3 June 2016. The award was given to the Lady Compliquée Peacock Emerald timepiece. A Lady Compliquée Peacock is on show at Cadeaux Jewelry, Gaysorn, Bangkok.

The Luxembourg Watchfair features a veteran jury drawn from many facets of the watch business and is comprised of Christian Odin, Ekaterina Sotnikova, Sacha Lakic, Nicolas Salomon, Gabriel Vachette, Gregory Blumenfeld, Thomas Perazzi, Denis Asch, Olivier Müller, Grégory Pons and Romain Réa.

Sean Gilbertson, Fabergé CEO, said:

“It’s a great honour to win another prize for the Lady Compliquée Peacock, on this occasion for the arresting emerald edition.

After health and family, time has become our most precious possession and it is fitting that it should be respected by special timepieces of unparalleled heritage. We are grateful to the jury for recognising the Fabergé team’s contribution to the world of creative watchmaking.

Peter Carl Fabergé’s philosophy of fusing artistry, craftsmanship and ingenuity remains the core inspiration at Fabergé. I thank and congratulate the entire Fabergé team, and especially Aurélie Picaud – our Timepieces Director – and Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and his remarkable family and team at Agenhor, for making this award possible by bringing together the great innovators in the industry in pursuit of a common goal: the search for mechanical and artistic perfection.”

Faberge Lady Compliquee Peacock EmeraldThe Lady Compliquée Peacock takes its inspiration directly from Peter Carl Fabergé’s Peacock Imperial Easter Egg of 1908. Hours are read at the winding crown at three o’clock utilising a mother-of-pearl band that rotates counter clockwise whilst the minutes are indicated by the fanning tail feathers off an exquisite carved peacock, sitting serenely in the bottom left corner of this horological marvel. This integrated movement was created exclusively for Fabergé by Agenhor, the Geneva-based independent workmaster. The manually-wound, retrograde movement features four peacock’s tail feathers, each moving simultaneously but at different speeds, telling the time in a uniquely imaginative way.
